Lukasz Szymula awarded a Doctoral Degree! He defended his thesis on “Application of Fuzzy Set Theory in Classifying Author’s Dominant Scientific Disciplines in Scientometrics”. Huge congratulations!

Lukasz Szymula, MA, our brilliant CPPS team member, was officially awarded his PhD degree in Computer Science from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan on September 6, 2024!

The title of his thesis was “Application of Fuzzy Set Theory in Classifying Author’s Dominant Scientific Disciplines in Scientometrics“.

He had two PhD supervisors: Professor Marek Kwiek from the CPPS and Professor Krzysztof Dyczkowski from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
