Three projects in 2021: Gospostrateg NCBR (2019-2021), Dialog MoSHE (2019-2021) and Preludium BIS NCN (2020-2024). Huge work with teams of scholars from across Poland in progress!

Three projects coordinated by Marek Kwiek are progressing smoothly, as planned.

One is funded by NCBR or the National Center for Research and Development, another by the ministerial research program Dialog, and the third one by the NCN National Reserach Council. They are planned for 2019-2021, and 2021-2024: 33, 24, and 48 months, respectively.

The first project is „Social and Economic Development of Poland under Conditions of Globalizing Markets – The Reform of Student Financial Assistance” and funding received is approximately 300,000 EUR. The Poznan team is collaborating with the team from Cracow University of Economics. In total, 10 scholars are involved in its execution.

The second project is “Research Universities 2.0: Funding, Governance and Human Resources” (2019-2021) and funding received is approximately 250,000 EUR.

The project, with Marek Kwiek as its principal investigator, is carried out by the Center in collaboration with four other universities:

  •  Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Professor Dominik Antonowicz)
  • Marie Curie Skłodowska University in Lubin (Dr. Adam Szot), and
  • Poznan University of Economics (Dr. Wojciech Roszka).

The project will study funding, governance and human resources policies of major European research universities and explore how they fit the Polish case.

The third project is “Research Productivity and Collaboration Patterns in Global Science. A Conceptual Approach“ funded in 2020-2024 and leads to another doctoral degree. It is conducted in the Center in collaboration with the AMU Doctoral School (Faculty of Computing). The doctoral student is Łukasz Szymula, MA. Funding received is approximately 130,000 EUR.
