Marek Kwiek nominated one of the four independent experts in annual “Global Education Monitoring” (GEM) Report 2025 by UNESCO in Paris.

Marek Kwiek, chairholder of UNESCO Chair in Institutional Research and Higher Education Policy at AMU, was invited to participate in preparations of the 2025 GEM Report.

The final meeting of all the parties involved in GEM Report 2025 will be held in UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in June 2025.

Sound evidence and analysis are needed to trigger actions that will contribute to inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. The Global Education Monitoring Report (GEM Report) is the global public good dedicated to compile such evidence and generate relevant analyses.

The GEM Report was established in 2002 as editorially independent and is hosted and published by UNESCO.
